Carl Jung: I'm very much interested in your new parapsychological enterprise which you promise.

To J.B. Rhine

Dear Dr. Rhine, 5 November 1942

Thank you for your kind letter.

I'm very much interested in your new parapsychological enterprise which you promise.

If I have any comments to make I shall not hesitate to send them to you for any kind of use you choose for them.

If ever I am able to say something about extra-sensory perception I would certainly give the paper to you, because your journal would be the only suitable place for such an article.

I have sent the photograph and hope it will have reached you in the meantime.

I often mention your work to people over here and I think it is of the greatest importance for the understanding of certain peculiar phenomena of the unconscious.

In our practical work we come across peculiar telepathic influences which throw a most significant light on the relativity of space and time in our unconscious psyche.

I quite agree with you that once we are in possession of all facts science will look very peculiar indeed.

It will mean nothing less than an entirely new understanding of man and world.

Hoping you are always in good health,

I remain,

Yours sincerely,
